A friend of ours little girl is diabetic....she was diagnosed around 1 or 2 years old....yuck! Then her cousin who is about the same age was diagnosed also....wow! Not good.  

They put on a fun raiser for it.   

 It was at a park & cowboy themed.  It was really fun!

 Marshall had fun panning for gold in the pool....it was so much fun that he decided to it would be better to just sit in the pool! We turned for a minute & then looked back and he was sitting in it.

I hope the someday they find a cure!

Spruces

These are picture from us going camping with my family & friends up at the Spruces over labor day.   It's nice my mom and day rent a trailer & let us sleep in it....it's really fun.  Marshall had a blast playing up there.  The boys love the trailer because of the bunk beds   

There is a sand volleyball court there but it is the perfect large sandbox for the kids.  Marshall loved it!

The 3 ninjas! Fun times.....camp fires.....dutch ovens......singing songs.... playing games.....dancing in the trailer...love it! It was rainy a few days but fun!

Family picture time

Every year my family goes up to the Spruces on Labor day to go camping. It use to be a ward camp out then in turned into a friend camp-out.....whoever wants to camp....the more the merrier! My parents usually rent a trailer and go up a few days before the actual camp-out and hang out. This year I decided to have my dad take pictures of us up there. It was fun but the boys didn't cooperate all that well....but I like the crazy pictures better anyway....more personality of how they are.

Ethan wheat thins first day of 1st grade

Can't believe it is time for school to start & we still haven't found a house! Oh well.....we love the people we have met here.....its been fun living in the condo....... living the life of the condo people.  I am SO proud of my little 1st grader......he is such a fun boy to be around.  I am happy he is mine.  He is all ready for all day 1st grade since last year he was in all day Kindergarten & rode the bus last year! Wow I am getting old!

Bear Lake

Once a year we go to Bear Lake to Kevin's uncle & aunts beach front property where they have a house in Fish Haven.  

Its really fun! They have this big grassy area where we can put up tents and trailer and campout.  Most of Kevin's family comes & then some of his cousins. 

We always have a fun time goofing around!

My cute boys! Kevin & his brother always get up early one of the mornings & ride around the 50 mile lake! This year his cousin Marci went with them....she is awesome....maybe one of these years I will go.....oh wait I have children...things like that just don't happen like that anymore......bitter? who me?  never :)

Park time

In our ward they have a group that meets once a month with mom or dads and their kids during the day to play or whatever....a playdate thing.  It's really fun to get together & hang out with the other moms and kids in the ward! We mostly have it in the church but this time we went to the Moutview park.  

Its a really fun park.  It use to be an elementary school but they tore it down and made a park with a big field.  

I LOVE being outside & watching my kids run around.  

E&J brithday party

Happy Birthday to Ethan 7 and Jackson 5! 

Since their birthday's are a month apart we usually celebrate them together with the our families.  It's nice that they are boys because they are usually into the same thing so it works with choosing a theme or whatever.  This year was awesome! Kyle...Kevin's brother......every year he can get the stair picnic area by the power plant up big cottonwood canyon.  It is a nice secluded place.  This year he got it but just decided he didn't really want to use it.......so....I asked him if we could use it for their birthday party with both sides of the family?  He said yes & it turned out great.  It was perfect weather & roomy enough for both sides of our families!!

My sister wanted to make a cake for the boys....well.... Jackson already decided on his.....so I told her she could make Ethan one.  He wanted a superhero one......he said to surprise him.  This is his awesome Captain America cake.......he loved it! What a cute aunt....lots of work.  Too bad we didn't get a picture of the inside....all red white & blue....very cute.   

This is Jackson's cake.  He made it himself and was really proud of it......he loves Legos.  

Ethan was very excited about his Captain America costume........perfect with his cake.  My mom and dad gave it to him and they gave Jackson a Spider man one.  I was glad that Costco is so ahead of the game by putting out Halloween costumes in August......it usually annoys me but this time it worked in my favor because they LOVE dressing up all year round.  I bought them for my parents to give to the boys so they didn't have to go out.

I love this picture because my Aunt Shanna is in it! Once again I know this because I am way behind on my blog........she passed away in December of 2012.  It was a good thing for her and we knew it was coming but I miss her! Love you Nana!

Triathamom!!

This year I decided to finally do one of my goals! I finished a triathlon.......excuse me.....a traithamom! It was so fun to train for & do.  I was really scared to do it but I felt it was more on my level.  I'm not sure I could run for very long & not get bored.  I love switching it up!

This tri was great for my first one.....all girls & a good short distance......  Ready set go......we swam 300 meters....in my cute yellow cap my bro-in-law let me borrow so my mom could see me.  

Biked for 12 miles.....then ran a 5K.....

It felt so great when I finished! I had accomplished something.  I felt like a dork....I couldn't find my sun glasses & had to use my hubby's which I look awful in! Nothing like getting your picture taken & you look like a dork......next year linz....next year....

My hubby and Marshall came to cheer me on! It was great to see them at the end.  Also, my parents came! You would have think I would have saved the world from mass destruction or something.....my mom was crying & telling me how proud she was of me! Don't get me wrong I LOVED it :)  My dad was great he took TONS of pictures of me.....BUT.......my outfit was ALL wrong & most of the pictures were not for public viewing.  I will be re-thinking my WHOLE outfit for next year.......YES i loved it so much that I will be doing it again! Who know maybe an iron man is in my future.....haaaa.....yeah right they are CRAZY....but I love watching it on TV!
