Christmas 2011

We celebrated Christmas this year with my family on the 30th. It was a lot of fun. The first is a picture of me and my cute mom. Then my cute hubby so excited about Christmas, I am sure that he got some tools! The next is of my mom getting our present of a maxi skirt! She has been looking for one for awhile & i found one for her....notice how excited she is :) Then there is my brother doing my mom's Nixon thing when she is excited.....silly Ryan! The last one is of me and my sister getting a present from my parents. My dad's parents passed away in 2008 & we are getting my Grandma's rings. My sister got her wedding ring and band & I got a diamond ring that my Grandpa gave to her one Christmas! It was very sweet of them to give them to us! Love it!

The top 2 pictures are of all the grand kids. My parents and my sister went to Hawaii this year & got all the kids a shirt & a towel....pretty cool! They loved it! The next is a picture of Kevin's parents. They usually make the rounds to everyone's house on Christmas day. For the past 2 year both sets of parents have shown up at the exact same time....funny! Then our cute Marshall with his birthday Jammies on!

These are some pictures of Christmas at our condo. I was hoping not to be here for Christmas & in a new house....but oh well.....life goes on. Of course I don't have a lot of pictures.....I need some help :) The boys got some Legos & some new costumes to dress up in....Iron Man and Ironhide. It was a great Christmas!

8 months old

Here are some pictures of my cute 8 month old. He is so fun & his brothers love to be around him. He is getting so big!

Random things

For the month of December we have an advent calendar that I put slips of paper with things to do each night....make a gingerbread house, go see Christmas lights, read a story, sleep by the tree.....etc. This is a picture of us all having a sleepover one night.

The microwave went out in my parents condo so we put in a new one for them. Exciting I know but it is fun to remember.

One night we did gingerbread houses. Don't you love Ethan's outfit? That top is my brother's when he was little. My mom has kept it for 30 year! When my boys are over at her house they love to wear them....so he brought it home!

Yes we are still in my grandparents condo.....we are loving the diggs! Someday we will be in a house!

The Davids

I love the holidays! We get to see a lot of friends that come back to Utah to visit their families. These are our friends that live in California & we make an effort to be able to see them whenever they are in Utah.

It has been nice having friends in California because we have an excuse to take a vacation there to see them!

I love this picture of all of our kids. They have 3 girls and we have 3 boys. They are all around the same age.....hummmm......maybe we will be in-laws some day.

We are very lucky to have your for friends and the the awesome time we have when we are together. We love you guys!

Horsleys

Our friends that live in Idaho usually visit family in Utah for the holidays & we are lucky to have them stop by for a few day. I love having friends stay over at my house. We have so much fun with them & their 3 kids. The next three pictures are of their boy Treydon and our Marshall. They are about a month apart. They are cute together.

We decided to take the kids to a bounce place. It was fun! This is a picture of Jackson and their girl Natalie.

Haws Party

On the 12th of December we had a family party for my mom's side of the family. It is a very small family but it's fun to be able to talk to all of them. I have 2 uncles, 3 aunts and 6 cousins and 10 second cousins. We had it at my cousin Amy's house. It was fun to see them & just hang out with them because we see them about twice a year. It makes me feel bad that we never see my cousins because that makes me think about when we are older will my kids see their cousins? That means I won't see my brothers and sisters very often......I guess I will just have to make a better effort so that doesn't happen :)

7 month old Marshall

Loves to play in the saucer & bounce. He loves to spin this barrel with balls in it & have it roll against his mouth... interesting :) Ethan crawls around the saucer while Marshall turns in it trying to find him.

He loves to watch Baby Neptune. He is a VERY drooly baby! We have to keep a bib on him all the time. He had a big rash under his chin from all his drool.

Loves his brothers playing with him. They can get him to laugh really good. He likes to be tossed in the air. He rolled back to front when he was at my mom and dads! Then front to back when my mom and dad were watching him......I think I need to stay home more! What a fun boys to be around...so happy!

Aquarium

On the 28th of November I decided to take advantage of the free day at the Aquarium. Ethan was in school so we went without him. I thought it might be crazy there but it wasn't too bad. The boys liked it & I loved seeing the penguins....so cute!

Family pictures

This year we had my dad take some family pictures of us. It was a little crazy, but we got some cute pictures. My dad still questions how photographers take pictures of kids...it baffles him. We have very active boys! They don't sit still for very long.

I love the pictures of Marshall, that blue shirt makes his blue eyes sparkle! Thanks for taking the pictures & putting up with the craziness.

Happy Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we made turkeys & they wrote on the feathers what they were thankful for....I don't know for what since I am doing this 8 months behind but if I find the turkeys I will put it in here later :)

We had Thanksgiving at my parents home.....this is my handsome brother & cute sister!

This is my niece Halen & my Marshall....she is so cute with him and loves to play with him. She will be a good sitter when she is older!

Well....Thanksgiving is always a great with either family. I love getting together 7 having no where to go just chilling with the family. Me and my 4 boys!

Bath time

My boys love taking a bath! They loved it this time because it was the first time they took a bath with Marshall.

They were so cute to watch together & Marshall loves the water & to splash lots!

Kevin decided to turn on & off the light.....as you can see I think it scared Marshall quite a bit....poor guy!

The bubbles were out of control after I turned on the jets.

Family dinner & Birthday

We have family dinners at my mom and dad's house twice a month. Sometime we will have it at my brother's house or ours but usually at my parents. Here is some of the crew.

We were celebrating my nephew Easton's birthday...he turned 3!

This is my Marshall with my brother Ryan! He is cute with kids. Yes...he is only 5 years older than me & is very gray....I can joke about it because I'm in the same boat....only I can color my hair. Good thing or Kevin would be married to a 60 year old! On the positive side we both have hair & his looks nice.....very distinguished :)I love spending time with my family & am glad that we all live so close to each other to be able to see each other.

New York City

In November Kevin got to go to NYC for work. I went last year when he had to go & it was SO fun! I LOVE visiting there. I think if we had no kids & were all about working & the night life....I would live there. There was so much to do! I love the idea of just walking everywhere & not having to drive. This time it just didn't work out for me to go with him....even though I LOVE flying and traveling. He went there for a couple days for work and then staying a little longer to have fun. His friend Michael came from Indiana to hang out with him.

This is the hotel he stayed at while there for work, the view from his hotel & the Brooklyn bridge at night when they were riding their bikes around. His friend Michael loves everything about food.....a food connoisseur you might say. He is a very healthy eater, loves to try new things, learn about how they cook the food & finds the best restaurants to go to. This is one of the restaurants they went to....Craft.

They were at a pizza place and next door to it was a Macaroni & Cheese restaurant. Yes, they specialize in different mac'n cheese! Kevin said there was a huge line outside to eat there. Talk about an artery clogger :) Then a picture of common street performers and a model in the street. He thought it was funny to see a modeling shoot. Then they went and saw a Broadway show.....Billy Elliot! Really? I was shocked when I heard he saw that, I would have never thought he would have gone to that & how did he like it? Not so much:)

This is a picture of the hostel they stayed in when he was off the work clock. He went from posh digs to poor man style, but didn't mind it at all. These are pictures of him on a tram and riding bikes around NYC....I saw people doing that when I was there & I would seriously have a heart attack, but Kevin said it was pretty fun! Well, he had fun....but we missed each other a lot....I don't like the single mom thing. I hope if he has to go again, I will be able to go....miss you NYC! I did however get a purse out of the deal!!
