Many of you have asked how Jackson has been doing with his helmet & so i thought i would post it on my blog for all to see.

He is doing aweome! From day one he hasn't had any problems with it. It can't be comfortable! He is such a good boy & very happy. I am very lucky. I can tell that it is helping. We went to the doctor the other day & he said that it is doing well & to come back in 5 more weeks. He has had it on about 8 weeks. Maybe another month or 2 & he will have it off.

It will be a sad day when we take it off because he rolls everywhere & hits his head on everything, which never hurts him beacuse of his crash helmet. So he's going to have a lot of bumps on his head when it comes off.

Bath time

I just wanted to let you know a favorite part of my day. I am sure you are dying to know what it is........BATHTIME!

I think it's the whole getting in the water & getting clean. If any of you know a bit about me you know that i love anything that has to do with water. Anyhoo.....I love watching my boys play in the tub together. It's cute now that Jackson is older & sitting up he can interact more with Ethan & he loves it! They always seem so happy after a bath. I love putting the smelly lotion on.
They are just too cute. I love making them laugh. Ethan is really good @ getting Jackson to laugh. Jackson has 2 laughs...his courtesy laugh & then his real laugh, which ethan can get him to do everytime.

I guess he is funnier than we are

Happy 24 JAMI

Today is my little sis b-day! She is 24! Wow you are getting old Dami Darmer :) i can't believe you are 24. That means i am way too old.

It's gone!!

It's a sad day! We just sold our Maxima. I don't know why but i get a little emotional when we sell our cars. I have been really attached to 2 cars. I bought a 88 yellow prelude just after i graduated form high school & i loved that car. I had it for about 7 years! I cried when a 16 year old from heber bought it! This is the other car i was teary eyed over! This car is awesome, i loved it! Now it is gone. It had too many miles and needed some repairs. We are just upgrading to a newer model. Poor maxima, if your too old we trade you in for a newer model :)

I love being an aunt!

We had another family party this weekend to celebrate my niece’s 2 year birthday! It was fun being with them all. We had fun with the bubbles...........& with the whip cream can!!! I love messin' around with my nieces and nephews!

They are so cute & fun to be with. I love that i get to be their Aunt!

Family get togethers

Don't ya just love family get togethers with food!! My brother took my camera, taking pictures of the food, so i thought i would put it on our blog to make you all drool!! :) I love being with my family. SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE!!!

It was such an awesome day on Saturday. It was a little cold, hence the coats and hats. So, after our Easter party we decided to go on a bike ride with the boys.

I love thoes kid trailers that go behind your bike. It was fun to be outdoors & not be cooped up in the house! I LOVE SUMMER!

Ethan loved finding thoes eggs! He would find one, open it and want to eat all the candy! His little cousin Madi, that will be 2, scored!! She beat Ethan to the punch everytime, so much for all the training that we had done before :)
Ethan was all too excited when he got a tape measure. Now he has one "just like daddy!" Grandparents with all the kids, except Jackson, he slept through the whole thing.

Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter weekend!! I love easter time, it feels like summer is just around the corner. We went over on Saturday to have an Easter brunch and egg hunt with the Kevin's family! Julie & Doug go above and beyond entertaining us and the grandkids! They had so much fun hunting for eggs in their house.

Potty training 101

Well, here we are doing the potty training again. I tried to crop the picture to save Ethan some dignity! I don't know how most of you got through this, but i am about to quit! :) I tried it about 6 months ago & nothing. So here i am doing it again. I did the whole treats, poster, big boy underwear......yada yada! Any ideas? He does everything great, but as soon as he gets off the pot, he goes on the floor! Lovely :) Any ideas? I am sure i am doing fine, i just need to stick with it! The joys of being a parent.....we love you buddy!

They did very well slept through the
night for them and were happy the whole time!!

The first picture is of Eric Clapton's house. You can hardley see it, it blends well with the surroundings! The third one is of a cute family we met on the beach with 5 boys!! They were so cute playing on the beach, it made me miss our boys. They all were around the same age except for one.

Here we are back from our warm and awesome cruise! It was sad to come back to the cold. We loved the warm weather and loved going to 5 different islands! If you haven't been on a cruise yet you should all go! We loved it! There was six of us that went and it was a blast :) We are glad that we left the kids beacuse it would have been much harder to do the things we wanted if they were there! We missed them a lot but it was good to get away. Thanks again Grandparents for watching the kids!!

Here is the finished product!! Not as bad as i thought it would be! He has been great with it and now he has a crash helmet for when Ethan wrestles with him.

This is the plaster that they put on his head to make the helmet!! He was so mad through the whole thing, but who could blame him! :(

The joys of kids!

Here i am updating my blog finally! Why the crazy picture you ask...well this is an ongoing problem with Jackson! I will update you fast for the ones who don't know. Jackson's head was in my uterus funny and we think that is why he never turned and part of the reason why i had a c-section. SO...he came out with loving to lay on his left ear. This is know was torticollis. We went to Physical Therapy and i would do exercises and try to position him differently and it did help but then his head just stayed flat on that one side. SO....now he has Plagiocephaly (aka flat head) Now he has to wear a helmet for 3 months to help his head go to a more rounded shape! We start ours young with the plastic surgery! Right before our cruise he got fitted for the helmet and here are some pictures of it!
