More Pictures of San Diego

I found some more pictures of our trip to San Diego. Here is some of the boys sleeping. We were happy they took naps on the way there & back.

It was very nice to have a DVD player so Ethan & Jackson could watch movies. At least it kept Ethan entertained the whole time. He has never watched so much TV in his life.

This is a picture of our 6 dollar hotel room. We didn't take very many pictures because we we in there for only for 9 hours. Just in & out.

Camp out

We decided since it was nice last Saturday night to have a camp out. The boys sure thought this was the best day ever. We set up the tent & the boys played in it for a few hours just running in & out...jumping on the beds! They loved it. Great entertainment. We had a picnic outside for dinner & then got them ready for bed. Both the boys grabbed their pillows, blankets & bears. We then watched The Incredibles in the tent. Kevin ridged it so we could lay down & watched the movie on the ceiling of the tent. Then both of the boys fell asleep before the movie ended. The boys got up around 7:30 am the next morning which was perfect because it was Sunday & we had to get up around 8 for church.....It was a good night. It got a little cold, but it was fun. Who needs to go up in the mountain when you have a the necessary things right here in the good old backyard!!

No more Rain???

The whole day was pretty nice until we went out for dessert. Our wonderful neighbors treated us to some yummy dessert.....as we were driving there......a crazy down pour started. Then when we were driving back home....the rain stopped .......out came the sun & a beautiful double rainbow!! Does this mean that summer is finally here???

I am still amazed about how rainbow are formed. I also love the smell of the outside when it is raining & after.

There is a double rainbow in this picture it is to the right of the brighter one. It is more faint.....but squint hard & you can sort of see it.

Tired??

My cute sister-in-law Jenni let Ethan come over for about 4 hours to play at her house. It was nice, i got a lot done because Jackson slept forever. Kevin after work went & picked up Ethan. I was outside talking with my neighbor when they came home. All the sudden i looked over & Ethan was face down in the grass......sleeping! I guess his cousins wore him out. Thanks again Jenni. I owe you big time!!

We went to Hanna this last weekend with Kevin's family. We celebrated my birthday & fathers day there. It was fun. Thanks for the cake Julie. My mother in law's friend owns a house up there, that was her parents summer home. It was FUN. The house was great....old....but had all the functions of a house you would like. There was a big grass area to play games......we played baseball, badminton, swung on the swing. There was a big fire pit for smores. We also rode bikes......basically just enjoyed the outdoors. It didn't rain one day........PERFECT. It was tonz of fun to relax. I got up early one morning & it was so peaceful & quite. I loved it. I should have taken my camera with me. Thanks for the great weekend family!!!

We're back...or not

WELL......i am back for a little bit. I don't want to make promises & then disappoint again. Our new computer, that we bought, decided not to work. We are in the process of tyring to get it fixed. Meanwhile, i am frustrated & decide to not use computers & live like the Amish.....technology is really not on my side right now. Well, who am i kidding that didn't last very long. I decided to use our laptops & give up on PCs.....then the one laptop we had, is having a seizure & the other is slow......am i cursed or something??? I will SURVIVE.

I am posting some of the things we have been doing. They are in no order. Also, i have not been very good at taking pictures. I need to get with it & make some mid-year resolutions!!

NEW TABLE

I loaded the pictures wrong...whatever. Well this is our new table we bought. I have been looking for one for awhile on KSL. I finally found one. The bottom picture is of our old table. My mom & dad had it for about 15 year????.....then they gave it to us when we got married about 8 years ago. The table is a little big for the room but it works. There is one more chair & a leaf. I am excited & love it!! I just am a controlling mom when the boys sit at it. Good thing it is used. I think I would be even more crazy if it was a new table. That is why i buy used stuff. It was a crazy story of how we got it. I was at work & saw it on KSL, it had been on there 2 hours. I called her & told her i was at work & so was Kevin. She wanted a down payment at least. The table was in Bluffdale. ......think think........SO i called my wonderful sister-in-law Kristen & asked if she would drive over to her house & give her a check. They live in Herriman. The wonderful person she is she went & gave her a down payment. THANKS GIRL!!! Then we went & got it that night around 9pm after i got home from work. As soon as we pulled in the drive way it down poured!! Crazy but good times.

Our yard & the boys

We have been working in our backyard. We planted 3 garden boxes....we have carrots, sugar snap peas, lettuce, green onions, tomatoes, raspberries, cantaloupe, squash....i am excited. I really like having a garden. The boys love to water & get all wet in the process.

Dinners, B-days......

We have been to some dinners & birthdays with Kevin's family. Here are just a few pictures of his cute family. The top picture is the newest grandchild CAROLINE ROSE....she is a cutie. I will try to find a better picture of her. It took them awhile to have a child, but it was a good wait because she is BEAU-tiful.

Mother's Day

I LOVE mother's day. A day to be pampered by my hubby!! I was treated great. He surprised me with a watering can &..................KENNY CHESNEY TICKETS!!! YEE-HAW. I can now wear my boots & hat!! Thanks honey.....i am way excited. I haven't been in the new Rio Tinto stadium, so that will be cool. There are 3 others coming with him......sugarland, lady antebellum & Miranda lambert. We are going with some good friend, so i am excited.

BaTH tIMe

The boys & I love bath time. It is relaxing to me. I can contain them in this small space & have fun with them. Jackson is cheesy....he love to say cheese when i have the camera. I love it!! Ethan on the other hand doesn't really like it. I was doing crazy hair dos & Ethan was mad. I have pictures of his face but they are not family friendly pictures.

Sunny San Diego

We went to San Diego with our good friends & their 2 cute kids. We drove the whole 11 hours there while they took the short cut & flew!! It wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be. I would have more pictures but those are stuck in the dead computer. We had a good time driving the kids were good & we stopped in St. George to see Kevin's grandparents & have dinner with them. Then we drove a few more hours to stay in Primm Valley that night & stayed in a hotel for ........drum roll....... 6 dollars....WOW....jealous?? It was good for one night. We just went to bed then woke up & left. No hanging around & watching TV. Anyway......we had a great time in San Diego. The beach house was right on mission Bay. I LOVE the beach & everyone running on the walk, but silly me forgot my running shoes. We went to Lego land. That was fun! I think we will go back again. I think i will post more pictures when our computer is back. THANKS Scotty, Melis, Riley & Ella for the fun weekend. While our friends were at a wedding we decided to meet up with our friends at the CPK & then to the temple grounds. They drove from Pasadena to come see us!!! We loved to see them & their cute girlies. I have pictures but of coarse they are in the other computer held hostage. We were so excited to see them & love to be with them. Thanks Davids for coming to see us. Hopefully we can do it again

Sunshine

I love going to the park with my boys. We went the other day when it was somewhat warm outside. I like this park because every time we go, no one is there. It is perfect for my boys. Jackson is such a big boy. He is very daring & will do almost anything....no fear! When Ethan was his age it took him awhile for him to go down a slide. Not Jackson....he just went on the slide with no problem. He is very independent....loves to be a big boy. It is crazy. STOP GROWING! :)

Hogle Zoo

We went to the zoo with Ethan's Preschool class. It was such an awesome day, nice & warm! I actually got to wear flip-flops!! Yeah Summer! I am sure Ethan's favorite part was getting squirted with mustard. He was standing there & one of the kids in the class wanted to try out this cool machine ....so he pushed it & Ethan got shot! JOY!! So, of course i had to take a picture of it.

We went without Jackson.....he would have liked it, but it was fun just to be with Ethan. It was fun to get out & walk around in the nice weather, but i think Ethan's favorite part was the $1 train ride. I personally don't like seeing all the animals caged up, but it was a fun field trip to hang with the moms.

Happy Birthday!!!

This is a little belated, but we got our computer awhile ago & I'm barely getting back into the swing of things. It was Kevin's Birthday this month & he is the big 30!! Wow...i am married to an old guy...but i am not too far behind, scary!! I don't think I'm going to like this birthday. Anyway, I decided i would change the background that would better suit him & to write down 30 reasons why i LOVE my Kevin.

Where have we been?

SO.......our computer is still broken. We are trying to buy a new one, but there is a lot out there. Hopefully soon i will be able to update our blog more often. Just to let you all know a little bit about what's been going on in our home.

Kevin is working at the same place as he has been for 8 year, just different jobs within the company. Kevin loves to be busy. He always has projects that he is doing, likes to go boarding any chance he gets, likes to be outdoors, loves to travel and likes watching football & how awesome it works out that the Superbowl is on his birthday! He is the Young men's President in our church & fits very well in the positions. He is a big kid himself. Kevin loves to be around his family & is a great husband & father.

As for me i am working one day a week to keep up my skills & then a stay at home mom the rest of the time. It helps me to use my brain a little bit when i am a work. I enjoy being a mom. I love being outdoors, learning new things, taking classes & hanging out with my 3 boys!! I just got called to be the Enrichment Leader in our ward. It is a lot of work but fun. The other day i went snowboarding with Kevin for the first time in 7 years, since i broke my knee. I was fun, I fell down a few times & knocked the wind out of Kevin one time trying to get off the crazy ski lift!! It was funny! I guess i will just have to attempt it again.

Ethan is 3. He started going to Preschool this year! A lady in the neighborhood does it. It is close & a few neighbor friends are in his class. He does really well & likes it. I didn't think he could go because he has yet to overcome the diaper devil!! My nemesis!! Maybe someday soon. He seems to not be interested in being free from the diaper devil. Keep on trying i guess :) He also just started going to primary this year...he is a sunbeam!! I started to get all emotional when he went! He is getting to big. He is a very smart boy. He loves to learn, play with his brother, loves to be outside, is a momma's boy & loves trucks....he is all boy, except when he is putting on makeup & carrying a purse!

Jackson is 18mo. He just started to go to Nursery! He is doing pretty good. He is a daddy's boy. He has attached himself to a guy teacher in Nursery & cries when he is not around. I love the teachers in there, they are great....so now i am free to go to RS without a kid!! Jackson is a busy body. Very curious about everything, loves to follow his big brother, loves to climb on anything and everything and get into everything. He like to dance & is a very happy & talkative boy.....He can say a few words but just babbles most of the time. We take him to his well check up at the end of the month. He is growing up too much.

We are blessed with great kids. I am lucky to have 3 wonderful boys in my house. Maybe i deserve a girl next time around. No announcement.....we are good for awhile.....i am just getting use to 2 boys. I am just wishing for a girl. I love my boys though. Hope all is well with everyone.
