The Happiest Place on Earth!!

I know that's Disneyland....but this year I'm gonna have to give that title to LAKE POWELL!! I have been to Lake Powell almost every summer for as long as I can remember! Every summer my family would rent a houseboat & spend at least a week down there.....basking in the sun! When I got married I was so sad because my dad just sold our ski boat & we were no longer going there :( Well.....good thing I married Kevin!! Just my luck, his family had a timeshare in Lake Powell.....so more summers at Powell. Yeah for marriage :) Then about 9 years later I was sad again when Doug said he was selling the time share (The Diane, good name huh?!?) right before we were suppose to go :( Then I was happy again when Kevin's aunt Camie & uncle Dave said they had a friends houseboat we could use. YEAH for them! It was a roller coaster of emotions:) It was a great boat, an upgrade from what we had before.

This year we went in August 2011 to Waweep. We usually hang out at Bullfrog or Halls Crossing. It was fun to see a different part of the lake, I hadn't been to that part for a while. All of Kevin's family made it this year included his aunt Camie & their family except Kyle's wife Shilo & their girl Caroline. Shilo was pregnant & didn't want to be down in the heat...I don't balme her! We decided it was best if we left Marshall this year since he is 4 months old. Don't feel too bad for him, he got to go the year before. He went water skiing & tubing....in my tummy! I was just a few months pregnant & no one knew. My family was more than happy to take Marshall for the week....what a nice family I have....THANKS!! It was HARD to leave him but I knew he would be happier with my family. It was great to see him when we got home because he was so excited to see us and was clapping his hands....another first at my parents while I was gone :( Well.....we drove my parents Tahoe 6hrs to Powell. We were pulling the jet skis....so we borrowed the parents car. We were going to spend the night in St. George & then drive the 3 hours in the morning to Page but we decided to spend the night in the Tahoe in the back of a church parking lot.....sounds comfy doesn't it? I just wanted to get all the driving done with & be ready to go the next morning. It was interesting to say the least :) That is the picture of us in the parking lot. The other is of the boys watching a movie and Kevin & the boys getting some sugar for the drive :)

AHHHHHHHHHHHH...........LAKE POWELL!!!!!!!!!!! This was far the best Powell trip! The weather, the place where we parked the houseboat, the glass water, the people, the firework show, the water skiing, the tubing, our boys..........everything??? SWEET! We parked the boat in this great place where we had our own little swimming area, a great beach & rock to climb & jump off.

One of my FAVORITE things to do at Powell is water-ski! I LOVE it! I'm not as good as I would like to be....but I don't care.....I LOVE it! I remember watching my brother, Cameron, every trip to Powell & how awesome he is. I love that I ski the same way he does. He is left handed so I ski the same way he does even though I am right handed :) This is some pictures of the water-skiers we had....Kevin, Kyle (brother-in-law), Doug(father-in-law) & I. It was glass for a good part of the morning & evening. I love going until I can't go anymore. I hope when I am Kevin's dad age I will still be skiing like him.

This is the great beach we had. All of us had fun swimming & jumping off the rocks. Kevin & Kyle even made an obstacle course.

All the kids tried the knee board. Jackson who just turned 4 did great & then Ethan who just turned 6 was very reluctant. We had to convince him & he had to have his goggles on :) Then we went tubing. Kevin's uncle had some a cool tube that was like a recliner! Poor Stacie got flipped twice on it.

We went to Lake Powell over Ethan's 6th birthday. I spent a few birthday's at LP. I remember my family waking me up while the Beatles Birthday song played in the background. My brother's were trying to get me up & I was being a grouchy teenager....we have a video of it. It's pretty funny to watch. Well....onto Ethan....he requested snicker doodles for his birthday. We sang to him & had him blow out a match & then had the cookies with everyone. It was a fun way to spend his birthday. I LOVE THAT BOY!!

Here is a cute picture of all the kids & the grandparents. It was fun to hang out with all of Kevin's nieces, nephews and a few cousins. All the kids were great....my boys were really good the whole trip, I am sure it's beacuse all we did was play all day! No chores, no bossy mom :)

Jackson is my Mister Daring........ he will try almost anything. Ethan on the other hand is a little more cautious & waits to see what happens when other people do it. Sometimes I can convince him it will be fun & then he likes it, but he would not go down the slide off the houseboat. Jackson.......LOVED it! He was all for it:) He even wanted to jump off the top of the houseboat when he saw Nate.... Kevin's 10 year old cousin jump off....luckily he stood up there and then decided he would just go down the slide. Crazy :)

Well....all good things have to come to an end. It was awesome every night, the boys were completely worn out & were so easy and willing to go to sleep. Jackson even fell asleep on a chair because he was SO worn out. I hope that we can go again next year & have the same luck! Thanks for all the fun times family!!

Marshall 4 months

I can't our little boy is growing so fast! He is 16 lbs, 26 inches tall and head is 17.2
Everyone tells me how chubby he is.

He is still the best baby! He sleeps through the night. He loves his brothers & will laugh anytime they are around. He is very happy & content. I love having a baby around the house!

I found him like this during a nap. He is too cute! Don't you love his stylish shirt? Kevin tie-dyed a bunch of shirts with the Young Men & he did some for the boys :)

I Know I Know.....yes I'm at the Y

You may ask yourself....why are you taking your boys to the Y when you are a U fan? Well.....my mother(who is a BYU fan) invited me & I didn't want to be rude, so I went. What a nice daughter I am :) I usually say yes to whatever as long as it's a chance to get out & do something, rather then stay home.

I LOVE Jackson's face here! They had some races the boys could do. It was pretty fun, they wanted to races over & over.

They also got to meet Cosmo & a bunch of the athletes. I could not believe how long the line was to meet Jake Heaps....so not worth it! I guess maybe for some.

It was fun to be outside regardless that I was down in Provo. No......it did not make me convert to the Y. I will forever bleed red! Go utes :) SORRY MOM!

Marshall's Blessing

On August 8th 2011 our 3rd boy Marshall James Moore was blessed! It was such an awesome day! We had a lot of conflicts as when to bless him but finally settled on a date when he was almost 4 months old.

I was kind of sad because he wound't be able to wear the blessing outfit Jackson was blessed in because he was a cute chubby little boy & had packed on the cuteness! Luckily, I had just made some tie onesies & the one I made worked out perfect....he looked so cute! I am so bad at taking pictures when I am hosting! I need to remember to give someone the job of taking lost of pictures!

I have the best dad in the whole world....no really I do :) We had the after party at my parent's house because we are still in the condo look for a house & there is no way everyone would fit in there..... especially with no yard! SO......what does my dad do? Rents a huge circus tent for the event so everyone could sit nicely in some shade! WOW!! THANKS again dad ....it was great!

The weather was awesome & our whole family came! We had homemade Cafe Rio salads and Italian sodas....which I love!

Since we had everyone together we decided we could celebrate Jackson and Ethan's birthdays that day too. Jackson's is in July & Ethan's is in August. It was perfect to celebrate all of our boys together!

The boys got some great presents! THANKS for all the nice gifts.

It was so cute....Ethan and Jackson got a train set from Kyle & Shilo. My nephew Easton is really into trains & when they opened it he was so excited! He kept asking me if he could open it and play with it. I couldn't resist....so I left the party & we went inside to play. He is so cute! Of course I didn't get a picture of him playing with it....just of Ethan....I am lame:)

It was a great day! I feel really blessed to have such great families that get along & are very supportive. I love they all live close by.....which is quite rare to have everyone still in the same area! I love that Kevin was able to bless all 3 of our boys & has a great way with words. I really love that we have 3 boys! Thanks Marshall for coming to our family & making us VERY happy!! We love you!

Crazy sleeping brothers

Every once in awhile I find my boys in odd sleeping positions. I thought this one was pretty cute. They were in their separate beds when they first went to sleep. Then we went to check on them as we were going to bed & this is what we found. How in the world did Jackson end up on Ethan's bed & on top of him :) Interesting!! :)

OUCH!!

On the 1st of August Kevin & I were going out on a date to Desert Star......yes Desert Star. We dropped the boys off at my parents house & my dad decided to take the boys up to Carl's Jr. for dinner. They decided to ride bikes up there. About 15 minutes after we left we got a call from my sister saying that Ethan fell off his bike & this is what we saw when we got back to their house...... lovely!

It was cute my sister was on her way to a party, saw Ethan and my dad after he fell. She took the time to help my little E! What a nice Aunt he has!

It was funny, when I was on the phone with Jami......all I could think about was "I hope it is his chipped to that was hit." SILLY me! He chipped his tooth when he was about 10 months old on some curbing & the tooth didn't abscess or anything so we just left it figuring it would just fall out.......but no............. he hit his other front tooth.

It is sad to see you kid in pain, he is was very brave. His tooth ended up falling out the next day & the tooth fairy came. He left a note asking if he could keep his tooth. The next day he came running up stairs saying...."the tooth fairy stole my tooth!" he was very upset :) I then told him did you look under your bed maybe it fell off....he found it & all was good.

You are sure a brave kid! We love your toothless grin!

Marshall 3 months

What can I say about my Marshall?? I LOVE THIS BOY!! He is the cutest, happiest little guy! He has been an angel from the beginning! Nothing phases this kid....he is just content with life & with whatever he is doing. He hardly cries.....is always smiling.....will go to anybody.....just a cute boy! This is not the best picture but....I love that I finally got around to making him some onesies with ties on them. I was at my friends house over the 4th & we made some ties! It was fun! I totally wished we lived by each other....I would be over to her house everyday making something with her.....I love to craft with her!

My cute niece Halen LOVES Marshall....it's fun having a newborn again. She is always asking me when she can see him again. I love when she texts me & asks! She is such a cute girl!! He is a great baby to hold! She is so good with him :)

One of my favorite things.....is to cuddle with my boys & fall asleep with them! Ahhhhh.....:)

MMMMMMMMM.....mister blue eyes....I think I will just get lost in them :)

I love making him laugh & being with this boy! I am SO happy that we decided to have another one & couldn't imagine a more perfect boy! WE LOVE YOU MARSHALL JAMES!! HAPPY 3 months

Jackson's 4th Birthday

WOW....my cute little Jackson is 4!! I was just thinking back to the time when I was pregnant with him & how crazy it all seems. It was a roller coaster of a pregnancy....from the very beginning to the end. I was on & off bed rest the whole time......afraid every second of the day that we would lose that boy.....then an emergency c-section at the end! It was a crazy 9months, but I would do it again for that boy.

He is my mister adventure, loves monster trucks, loves being his big brothers shadow, would do anything Ethan tells him (regardless of what I say)...he talks to me non stop all day....he loves to act crazy with me & dance around.......loves to help me out around the house...love to play dress up....will eat almost everything & sometimes doesn't stop...has the cutest smile & laugh....i love his perfect teeth :) Love that when I ask him to do something he doesn't want to he will drop to the floor & says "my leg hurt!!" SILLY BOY!!

It was pretty funny when Jackson woke up on his birthday. The night before we blew up balloons & left a bunch of them right outside his door for him to wake up to. Kevin & I were in bed then all the sudden in the morning we could hear all this screaming & running around. We came downstairs & find Jackson running naked thorough the balloons screaming "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY !" ....so funny! We do have pictures of it but........ I thought I would spare you & him the embarrassment :)

I let the boys pick out a special cereal for their birthday.....since we never buy the sugar cereals. As you can see the winner was......... Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

It was so nice to have his birthday on out small little patio....don't get me wrong I am very grateful we have this condo to live it while we find a home...but I would LOVE a yard again!!

We had a fun time opening presents & spraying him with silly string! He got some legos & a new Razor scooter.....he loves it! THANKS Jackson for coming to us & making us very happy! We love you!!!

Planet Play

For Jackson's 4th Birthday we decided to try out Planet Play. It was alright, nothing fancy, but..... it was fun! Hardly anyone was there, so it was nice. They have a buffet you can eat all day long until you are loaded up with carbs! The boys loved it...... they could just keep going back & get whatever they wanted.

We played a little black lighted neon mint-golf. It was pretty fun & no one was in there with us. You would hit the ball off coarse & have no idea where it went. It would just blend in with the other neon stuff all over. Then I would find it later on after I would almost twist my ankle while stepping on it :) I laugh every time I see this pictures of Jackson :)

We did a little laser tagging......which my boys love! It is fun to play with them & run around. They keep me going all day long! I love having boys!

Now onto a little mini-bowling. It was a fun place to get away & be crazy!

Midway Vacation

On July 16th we took a little vacation up in Midway with some friends. We spent the day up in Park City going on the Apline slide and coaster. That coaster is pretty awesome ....yee haw!! I am SO mad! I took pictures of us on the alpine slide & they are no where to be found.....that is CRAPPY! Maybe I will magically find them one day & then I can add them to this post! :) Well.....we just chilled....went swimming......just hung out.......nothing fancy, which i love sometimes.
