In November Kevin got to go to NYC for work. I went last year when he had to go & it was SO fun! I LOVE visiting there. I think if we had no kids & were all about working & the night life....I would live there. There was so much to do! I love the idea of just walking everywhere & not having to drive.
This time it just didn't work out for me to go with him....even though I LOVE flying and traveling. He went there for a couple days for work and then staying a little longer to have fun. His friend Michael came from Indiana to hang out with him.
This is the hotel he stayed at while there for work, the view from his hotel & the Brooklyn bridge at night when they were riding their bikes around. His friend Michael loves everything about food.....a food connoisseur you might say. He is a very healthy eater, loves to try new things, learn about how they cook the food & finds the best restaurants to go to. This is one of the restaurants they went to....Craft.
They were at a pizza place and next door to it was a Macaroni & Cheese restaurant. Yes, they specialize in different mac'n cheese! Kevin said there was a huge line outside to eat there. Talk about an artery clogger :) Then a picture of common street performers and a model in the street. He thought it was funny to see a modeling shoot. Then they went and saw a Broadway show.....Billy Elliot! Really? I was shocked when I heard he saw that, I would have never thought he would have gone to that & how did he like it? Not so much:)
This is a picture of the hostel they stayed in when he was off the work clock. He went from posh digs to poor man style, but didn't mind it at all. These are pictures of him on a tram and riding bikes around NYC....I saw people doing that when I was there & I would seriously have a heart attack, but Kevin said it was pretty fun!
Well, he had fun....but we missed each other a lot....I don't like the single mom thing. I hope if he has to go again, I will be able to go....miss you NYC! I did however get a purse out of the deal!!

Ethan's school party & Halloween
It was fun this year to go to my first school Halloween parade for my big Kindergartner! Ethan was a dracula AND once again I am a bad person at taking pictures!! I bring my camera & get too involved in the moment and forget to take pictures....hello!

This is Halloween night before we went trick-or-treating. I made mummy dogs, swamp punch and had jack-o-lantern fruit bowl. It was fun. Since we live in our temporary condo & there are a lot of older people we decided to go somewhere else. Plus our neighbors told us that they never get trick-or-treaters! We decided to go with Kevin's sister & his family around their neighborhood & did I get pcitures? NOPE...crazy girl!
It was a fun Halloween that will forever live in my head since I have hardly any pictures. I was a cowgirl and a witch & Kevin was ?????
Cornbelly
In October we went down to Thanksgiving point with our friends Scotty & Melissa for some fun at the Cornbelly! It was cool that had a house full of corn that we could play in.

It was fun there! They have a lot of things to do. They loved the big jumping bubble. It is pretty fun to jump on. The boys went through some haunted houses....they were pretty brave but one time was enough for them :) Thanks for the fun time guys!
Halloween Party
Kevin's cute mom put on a Halloween party this year. It was fun! I LOVE Halloween, in case you didn't know!! Everyone looked so great in their costumes! This is Kevin's oldest brother's family! They are too cute!
This is some of the good food we had. I got the assignment of veggies so I tried to halloween them up a bit. The picture of my mother-in-law in the witch hat is SO cute! I love her!
These are my cute boys. Ethan was Boba Fett, Jackson was a Kola & Marshall was a big bee! Thanks to my sis for the Kola and Bee.....it's nice to have a sister that has costumes we can borrow :) I was a cowgirl and Kevin was Clark Kent
We had such a fun time. I love hanging out with Kevin's family!! They are so fun & easy going.

The Needles
Around the 13th my cute hubby and some other men went on an overnight adventure in canyonlands at the needles and golfing.
They had a great time there and did who knows what but all I know is packing around that much water would kill me.....seriously do you need 30lbs of water? I mean who needs water?:) I think Kevin's pack was around 45 lbs....hello!
13 days of halloween
I say this every year....so here it is again......I LOVE HALLOWEEN! This year was awesome!! 13 days before Halloween the doorbell rang. We answered it but no one was there except for a graveyard cake....so cute! Let the fun begin. At first I just thought some cute family in our ward dropped a fun Halloween treat by.....but this went on for 13 days!
Then I started to think.....ok this person is spending a lot of time and money on us, I doubt it is any of our neighbors since we just moved in.
We ending up getting......pumpkins, cupcakes, carmel apples, witches brew, poison, popcorn balls...I'm sure I am forgetting something....but it all was SO cute and fun to see what would be on the doorstep everynight
I finally figured it out......my cute sister JAMI!! I think she was trying to win us over so we will buy a house near her! It was working :)
