Sleep over time

Our friends went out of town & we were lucky to take their cute kids over night.  It was fun to have them & the boys loved having Riley & Ella over.  I loved having another girl around.  It was bath night, so we put all 3 boys in & had some fun.  They were so cute together.  I got some good pictures of them in the tub. 

They were pretty funny in there.  I kept turning on & off the lights.  Who knew that would be GOOD entertainment

A little Brain-washing???

My family are big BYU fans....some of them are a bit extreme.  Well, needless to say they were not too pleased when i married a UTAH fan,  he was going to school there & most of his family is too.  

ME?? I love to watch  FOOTBALL....i love to watch good games.  I am more a outdoor football watching girl.  When we first got married, we belonged to the student fan club for at least 5 years.....i loved every minute of going to the UTAH games....i miss it a lot.  I loved the atmosphere & standing the whole game. 

Yes mom.....If the U & the Y were playing it would be the U.

My mom & sister are trying their hardest to make my boys see the light & go to the good side.....according to her.  They took Ethan down to BYU in August to see the football team.  He had a blast!!  

He was having fun running in all the races.  

As you can see they haven't succeeded yet...he really is not a fan of  BYU.......

Well girls, i guess you will have to keep on trying....i know you will !! Just to let you know we have our little brain washing sessions here & he is at our house a lot more.  

Guess will see who wins....U or the Y?  Light or Darkness?? Good or Evil??

Computers are EviL!!

SO....we have been having computer problems AGAIN....this time we got a virus.  The computer told me that it was the worst virus of 2009....LOVELY!! Well so we called our friend Nate & he came to the rescue & revived our computer from the dead.  THANKS...so now i am back to the blog world.  I have a lot to update so I am back tracking a bit.  I do this for my own scrap booking so i can turn it into a book at the end of the year.

HaLLoWeeN PaRtY

One of my favorite holidays is HALLOWEEN! I love the colors, fall is in the air, dressing up & all the above. Every year we have a Halloween party with our families.....it’s nothing spectacular, but everyone gets dressed up & we have fun……dinner & games.  I realized I need to get back on the ball of taking lots of pictures of things that we do.  I looked back at my Halloween pictures & it is pretty sad.  

The top left picture is of Kevin’s niece, Caroline the ladybug, she is SO cute!  The next one is of my niece Halen & Ethan eating doughnuts off a string.  It was pretty funny; they had icing all over their face.  The three witches are Kevin's sister & her girls....very cute!  The next 2 down are of my brother & his family....I love the cavemen outfits! Then the big picture is of MY Mr. incredible rescuing wonder women!!  My hero!!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to us

I know this is a little late but,  I go in phases with updating our blog.  Kevin & I celebrated our 8 year anniversary on October 2nd! We all know that time flies by too fast.  It feels like yesterday when we moved into our basement apartment downtown & enjoying being married.  I love those memories.  It truly has been a great 8 years......many challenges & blessings along the way.  I am glad that i said yes to Kevin when he asked me to marry him.  It has been one of the BEST decision i have ever made.  He is such a great husband & father, i couldn't ask for anyone better.  For our anniversary we went to the Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley concert, went to Frightmares, dinner & took a trip down to Moab to ride ATV's.  It was a great Anniversary.  We just decided to stay around here & do something each week of the month for our anniversary.  It was perfect.  I love you Kevin!

Soccer Time

Ethan just started his first year of Soccer.  He's never really played it before, so it was fun to see what he would do.  We thought he may be a little young to play but there were some kids in our neighborhood playing so, we thought we would try it.  It's fun!! I realized this is what our life will be like now that he is playing sports & since we have 2 boys!!

It'is fun to watch him &  be outside!! He's excited about going to the games & at least chases the ball.  There are a few boys & girls that are really good......it's fun to watch all the kids interact.  I love seeing the bunched up group of kids all trying to kick the ball.

PLaYinG DReSS uP

So....sometime i put my laundry in the family room, so i can watch TV while i fold it. This time i didn't get to it & the next minute we knew our boys were dressing up in our clothes. Ethan kept saying...."look i'm mom & Jackson would say "Daddy, Daddy."

It was pretty cute.

They thought it was pretty fun as you can see by their expressions on their faces!

Ethan's 1st day Preschool

Well, it's official I AM OLD!!! Ethan just started his 2nd year of preschool & next year Jackson will be able to go.......AHHHHH! I am not old enough to be doing this.

I do like that Ethan LOVES going to preschool! We carpool with 2 other kids this year & he likes that. He likes his teach Mrs. Margaret...she is great. This was the best picture I got, because he wouldn't hold still.....he was SO excited to go.

Here are my boys hugging before he left! They love each other but show it in interesting ways!! I do love the fact that i get to spend time with Jackson, he is a different boy without Ethan around.

Ethan does really well in school & loves to learn. I hope it stays with him all throughout school & life!

Discovery Gateway

I have been wanting to go to Discovery Gateway for a long time. I was just waiting until Jackson was old enough to enjoy most of it. Well......he's way beyond that point, so we finally went. My boys LOVED it!! We stayed there 5 hours!! They would have stayed longer, if i would have let them.

They have a construction site that is pretty fun....using the crane & building buildings.

Ethan loved to be the checker & Jackson liked making sandwiches.

Ethan had fun being the mailman for the day. It's cute, they have mailboxes all around, so you can deliver the mail to the farm....gas station....etc. You can also dress up like a fireman.

They have an area with a bunch of tubes that you can put balls in them & they will go to various places. They stayed here forever too. Notice Jackson with his tongue out.....he's just like his dad, when he is concentrating, his tongue comes out. silly!

The upper part of it has more stuff for older kids to do but it was still fun. I loved the life-flight helicopter...the boys seemed to like it too, making their own helicopter noises.

Another picture of Jackson concentrating with his tongue out....... I think that this was Jackson's favorite part. They have this water area where you can play with boats & different things. He was soaked!! They have aprons you can put on but, i would put it on him & the next minute i knew it would be off.

If you haven't been here yet...you should really go. Go right when it opens & just hang out at Gateway. You can come & go all day long. You don't have to stay there the whole time you can go get lunch & them come back for some more fun. We loved it.

Welcome to Ethan & Jackson's Carnival

This year for Ethan's 4th & Jackson's 2nd birthday we decided to do a CARNIVAL. Their birthday's are 18 days apart & we had no time this summer to do separate family parties for them....so we did it together & invited both families. The only ones who didn't make it were Kevin's parents....they were enjoying the warm sun & water in Lake Powell...jealous!!

It was fun to have them open all the present....a little crazy at first because Ethan wanted to open all the present...but it was all good! Thanks for all the gifts!

It was a lot of fun!! I know they boys loved it. We had a bunch of booths set up to play games....had costumes they could dress up in....& we borrowed a sweet sound system from Kevin's aunt & uncle.....music played the whole time. It was awesome.

My mom, aunt & sister helped me out SO much. I was a little behind schedule...so they jumped right in & helped out! THANKS....you girls are great. They didn't complain too much because it was nice & cool inside.

I recruited my brother to bring his artistic balloon skills. He used to go to restaurant & make balloon animals for kids. He sat there the whole time & made cool balloons for the kids...they loved it!! THANKS so much Ryan for doing that. You are great! There is a picture of Ethan crying because his wonderful balloon popped! CRAZY! I made a racecare cake for the boys. It turned out all right. It was figure 8 racetrack & i put some cars on there. It was a good cake for 2 boys!

Moore Water Park

This year we decided to have a Water Party with some of Ethan's friends. My brother has this awesome water slide that we borrowed. Best toy ever!! The kids played on it forever. Thanks for letting us use it!!

This is our neighbor Aidan.....he is a stud. He loved to stay at the top of the slide & man the water.

These are our neighbor twin boys also along with Jackson. I had a little pool set up with a slide, & a sprinkler in the middle, so that the littler kids could have fun. While the big kids played on the water slide.

Cheap Trick, Poison......DEF LEPPARD

My awesome brother invited me to the Cheap Trick, Poison &.......DEF LEPPARD concert!!!! I love outdoor concerts, it was so much fun to be at USANA. Some of my brother's friends came also. I absolutely loved it!! I will be going again. They sound so awesome, just like they do on their album. Thanks Ryan for the great night.

Cherry Hill

We have been wanting to go to Cherry Hill for awhile. We planned to go in June with my brother's family but it was so rainy & cold we rescheduled. We ended up going the end of August & then my brother couldn't come but, we found out our neighbors were going that same weekend!! We had lots of fun....lots of people but fun. We decide next time we will just go up on a week day. They have a tube slide called Cardiac Canyon. It is pretty fun...it has waterfalls drops and all that good stuff. I didn't think Ethan would go on it but he did TWICE.....he was done after that. I wish i would have pictures of him going down but i left it back at our camp site. Oh well....it was fun....we'll have to do it again.

Another cabin

We went to another cabin after our mouse cabin. This one i must say was a bit nicer. This is the type of cabin i would like if i ever got one. It's just big enough for a good size family & i like the area it is in. My mom's friend owns it & so my side of the family went up there over night, it was a lot of fun. I love being with my family just hanging out & going 4 wheeling...that is my favorite. The boys love it too.

Here are 2 of my cute nephews! Easton (the baby), is SO stinkin' cute. He smiles all the time, so i just had to put 2 pictures up of him. Kevin got him to smile really big & laugh.

The upstairs is just one big room with lots of beds. All the boys were having fun running & sliding on the wood floor

This is my Jackson playing with the boys....he loves running & laughing everywhere. I need some of his energy.
