UTES preview

Kevin took the boys to the Utes Preview at the Stadium. It was cute he invited Boston to go....I love that even though his is a BYU fan he still wanted to go because he LOVES football.....now that is my kind of boy. I get a little sick of the whole rivalry thing.... especially with my family......so I love it when people have a love for the game and not the rivalry! Who cares what team you like just enjoy watching it! There is my 2 cents for the day!
I love the look of a football field and especially being at a football game....I love the atmosphere. Football is definitely my favorite to watch in person!
The boys had lots of fun playing on the field! I would loved to be there but my little Marshall needed a nap & that was important to him and to me! Next year!

Goblin Valley Day 3

Day 3 was the best day! Jackson learned to ride a bike! He was awesome just a few times holding him and he was off. It was a great place to learn. Awesome!
This is one of my favorite pictures! I love it with 2 of my boys!
On the last day we went to the Valley of the Goblins and hiked around......it was SO fun! I love doing that exploring kind of hiking! We got up as high as we could go with our family of 4 and then Dave and his 2 kids Lindsay and Colton. It was cute Lindsay got a hole in her pants near her bum and she was pretty embarrassed about it but then I told her that I had one also in the same place and it made her feel not so bad anymore....it was cute!
We found some pretty cool places! It was really fun. If you have never been I would say.....GO...... especially with kids! We loved it so much that we reserved a place for next year.....but I think this time we are tenting it because we got a group site......:( no more fireplace.....I will miss you!

Goblin Valley Day 2

After our first night there we went hiking the next day. It was a pretty hike. I like seeing all the high red walls. The boys did really well the whole time.
Kevin had his Go-Pro camera on. The boys insist on carrying their own pack filled with water and snacks....which is nice. The top right picture is "MUY PADNER!" It is our friends little girl Brooklyn. He mom told her to stay with her partner and she chose me as her partner for some of the way. It was cute......she would hold my hand....I was in love because I had a girl for a brief moment! She was in love with every dog that would come by.....automatically she would gravitate towards the dog and want to pet it! It was fun!
It was a perfect day.....I really like hiking like that! When we got back we had dinner and then the boys were exhausted.....so I put them to bed. While we were in there it was SO COZY with the fire.......I just couldn't bring myself to go back outside in the cold......so the boys & I feel asleep together......One big pile! LOVE MY BOYS!

Goblin Valley Day 1

Ahhhhh.......GOBLIN VALLEY! We went there in April for 3 days with 2 other families. We had reserved a few camp spots and one yurt.........we decided we wanted to try the yurt this time. Can I just say....HEAVEN!! I LOVED it. When we got there the wind was blowing & it was cold. It was nice not to have to set up our tent. Here I am opening the vent in the skylight.
It has a futon where Kevin and I slept......& the best part....the FIREPLACE! That was awesome! It was nice to be all cozy in there!
It was very spacious for the 4 of us.......YES.....my Marshall stayed at my mom and dad's. I knew it would be miserable for him to be there....so THANKS ma and pa!! It was very simple in there. Had a bunk bed for the boys and a table and chairs. Most of the furniture was from IKEA!
We had a lot of fun in there! Our one friends had a tent so we invited them over for dinner in our yurt every night.....it's the least we could do since they cooked our dinners for us......THANKS HOUTZ!!
Ahhhhhh.....don't we just look blissfully happy or a little tired?:) Adventure comes are way!

Gardening

This spring since we are in the condo we don't have hardly any yard work. I thought it would be a nice break but I actually miss it. I really like being outside and making my home BEAU-tiful!
Jackson is my little helper. You ask him to do anything & he is up for it. He loves to be outside too. Our yard work took us about an hour and we were done for the summer! Boo-yah!

Family party time

My dad was taking pictures of us at my brother's house. I LOVE these ones of Marshall....HI mister blue eyes!
Every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month we have dinner over at my families houses.  We usually rotate houses.  I haven't been able to since we live in the Condo but when we find a house.....we are back in! This time we were at my brother Ryan's house! I love hanging out with my family.....they are pretty fun!
Just me and the boys!

Marshall 11 months

WOW my busy little Marshall! He is getting so big! This month he stood up all by himself while holding on to the crib, he waves hi, he can sit up from a laying position, can climb up the stairs without falling and drinks out of a cup. The saddest thing is that he can crawl normal now.....I miss he cute little army crawl. He LOVES to get into EVERYTHING, he is a very curious little boy. He loves to be doing whatever his brothers are doing. He is still laughing and happy ALL the time. He still sleeps really well. WE LOVE YOU!

Ensign Peak

This is one of our favorite hikes to do on Sunday! It's just perfect for the boys & we get to see the whole valley and the temple. They boys love going there and are always asking "when are we going again?"
This picture cracks me up. My boys love to dress up as twins & I am not too fond of them dressing up alike. Of coarse because I don't like it they love to do it....so I give in every once in awhile. Then after I saw this picture I realized Kevin & I are TWINS!!! AHHHHHHH! After 10 years of marriage I guess you start dressing alike. It is funny though we do find ourselves dressed in the same color sometime. WEIRD :)

Pictures

The boys loves to watch the computer when the slideshow of all the pictures some on. They could sit there for hours. I love looking at the ones of them when they were SO little! Yes, we are still in our condo....12 months and counting. Hopefully we will find a house soon! Don't you just love the chair...it's my grandpa's office chair. All of our stuff is just a little of this and that!

A little grandpa time!

I think the title says it all! I LOVE my dad he's a really good grandpa! It was so awesome when my dad retired! He has always been a great and fun dad but..... he was just very busy all the time with worked and seemed a little stressed, as most of us are with work. Then he retired and he seems happier, calmer & seems to enjoy life a lot more! Marshall really loves him a lot and loves his iPad or anything that has to do with technology.....as most kids are!

Snow Cave

Kevin decided to take the boys up in Big Cottonwood to do some snow caving! They had so much fun, the boys talked about it forever. I LOVE when he takes the boys to do fun things like that. He is a great dad & is a kid at heart! They built caves under the picnic tables & used our kayak paddles for shovels :) Very cute!
However, I would have loved to go but I got to stay home with my cute 11 month old Marshall. I think he would have just been miserable. Marshall & I will go next year!

Snowborading

My cute hubby loves Snowboarding! He gave up the skis for the board & lives for powder days. His favorite place to board is Powder Mountain.....he says it is awesome! His friend from Indiana flies in every snow season to coming boarding & they go together. Kevin bought a Go-Pro this last Christmas and loves to use it for all his adventures that he does.
His friends mom lives in Huntsville so after a long hard day of play they are able to go to her house & get in the hot tub! Nice!

This way to the BEACH

We had a two day pass to Legoland but wanted to go to the beach instead that day. We actually drove to Legoland to see if it was crowded on a Friday....& YES it was! A lot more crowded.....so we decided it was better to go to the beach. The boys however wanted to go back to Legoland. It was funny when we got there Ethan said "you didn't tell me we were going to the Ocean, you just said the beach." "If I knew we were going to the Ocean I would have said yes!" Silly kid.....didn't know we needed to be more specific!
We had a fun time playing in the sand and writing out names. The picture on the bottom right was a tribute to PINTEREST!! I saw it on there and remembered it & it turned out cute. The boys thought I was so cool.....yes I am! :) SO......i actually did something I pinned! Boo-yah!!
We had fun running in and out of the water....I love this picture.
There were some other boys there....so the boys joined them with all their trucks and stuff. I LOVE the beach & could stay there all day. There is the one picture of me! As you can tell I was the photographer that day....so hardly any pictures of me....oh well! Also I was a dork and was really cold after I would run in the water so I was under towels for some of the time. but it felt good to have the sun on my face and to lay on the beach since it was cold back home! LOVE IT
Well as anything that is good must come to an end! It was a fabulous 7 days. I love that we left on a Sunday and came home on Saturday & had one day to recover before going back to life. I don't like when you come home from a vacation late at night and the next day you are back to reality. I need a day to vacation from my vacation!

LegoLand

Now onto LegoLand! This is our little beach Condo we had....very nice diggs! We went from the worst to the best hotel on our trip....it was nice to end it out with a nice condo! We even ate in one night and had a nice dinner. It was nice to eat there instead of going out again. I use to LOVE going out to dinner all the time but now that I eat better it's not so appetizing anymore...:( We gave the boys their Lightsabers in the morning....they loved it....but who wouldn't?
LEGOLAND! I think this place is really cool for kids that are younger. We figured since we made the trip to Disney we might as well drive to LegoLand. It was fun and the boys loved it. I love the picture on the top right were Ethan is checking out the girl....ooolala!! Ethan and Jackson had fun driving the cars.
All the rides are pretty scaled down for little kids and it was just perfect for our kids
I love looking at all the displays and characters they made with Legos. The Star Wars area was cool with life size Darth Vadar, R2D2......also the scene they made from Star Wars movies. They have also made little replicas of the Vegas strip from Legos, it was cool. The park was not crowded at all, I guess because we were there on a Thursday....it was awesome....no lines. Except for the roller coaster, all the bigger kids rode that over and over.....it was pretty fun. To end the day out we went out for Ice Cream.

2 days at Disney

What can you say about Disneyland.....nothing because these pictures speak for themselves! It was SO much fun & we LOVED every minute of it! Next time we will spend 3 days there instead of 2, totally not enough time. I love that we got to spend Valentine's day there......it was a good day!! We even saw 3 families we knew there....weird!
I loved taking pictures with all the characters! I was happy that there wasn't a long line for any of them. I guess it's good we have boys because they never wanted to stand in line for the princesses, however I would have loved to....but we got a picture with Mickey! Ethan and I were the only ones who wanted to take pictures with them.
Ethan got chosen to do the Jedi training......we were rushing there and I put him up on my shoulders and kept pointing to him so they would pick him....and it worked! I sacrificed my boy!! It was pretty cool and Darth Maul was awesome and CREEPY! Jackson was a little worried and wouldn't do it.....but Ethan loved it. We decided to buy the boys light-sabers before we left so we could give them to them because we thought they would be WAY too expensive there....but no......they were the cheapest thing there! Weird!! They were more expensive at Target.
We had fun on all the rides....the boys loved splash mountain and autotopia and the buzz ride was one of their favorites. Jackson and Kevin decided to try out the famous corn dogs there.....Jackson was a fan!
Ethan was just tall enough to go on the Indiana Jones ride, so he went with Kevin. They came back and Ethan was a little scared. After that I went on it by myself and thought it was pretty cool but could see why it freaked him out!
It was so nice in February because there was hardly any lines and it wasn't blazing hot! One of my favorite rides was the Tower of Terror!! We made the boys go on it as you can tell from the picture they weren't to fond of it. However, Kevin and I took turns trading off with the boys so we could ride the Tower over and over again!! LOVE IT!! It was raining that day when we were in California adventure......which was AWESOME.....because everyone else cleared out of the park and we didn't have to wait in hardly any lines and ride the rides over and over! LOVE IT! We were prepared for the rain, so it was no big deal for us! We got to take a picture by the new Cars Land. We debated whether to wait for it to open or just go...... obviously we just wanted to go and said we will go back in a couple of years to see the new Cars area......which I am EXCITED about!
This is one of my favorite pictures of the trip and I almost forgot to include it! (the bottom right) They were so excited to go on the pirates ride but as soon as we went underground they weren't too fond of it. They kept saying "is it dark outside?" "are we ever getting out of here........and on and on. It was pretty cute! My still all time favortie ride is the teacups! I don't know why but I LOVE them! Kevin went on it once and was done....too dizzy.....the boys and I went on it over and over. I love the lanterns that are hanging up too!
At the very end of the day we rode the Toy Story ride over and over and over and over.......the boys loved it & we thought it was pretty cool! While we would ride it we would take turns going on California Screamin'.....which had no lines!! It was awesome. We were going to see the World of Color but it was closed because of the rain :( Next time. To end out the day we rode the Mickey wheel.......that was a bad idea. Jackson decided he had had enough and was crying the whole time.....not a good ride to be stuck on with a crying kid! We left right when the park closed...the boys were really tired and we were driving and hour to Carlsbad to got to our hotel that night to go to Lego Land the day. This is how we transported the sleeping kids to the hotel room.....SWEET! BYE BYE Disneyland! See you in a few years!
