Happy Birthday!!!

This is a little belated, but we got our computer awhile ago & I'm barely getting back into the swing of things. It was Kevin's Birthday this month & he is the big 30!! Wow...i am married to an old guy...but i am not too far behind, scary!! I don't think I'm going to like this birthday. Anyway, I decided i would change the background that would better suit him & to write down 30 reasons why i LOVE my Kevin.

Where have we been?

SO.......our computer is still broken. We are trying to buy a new one, but there is a lot out there. Hopefully soon i will be able to update our blog more often. Just to let you all know a little bit about what's been going on in our home.

Kevin is working at the same place as he has been for 8 year, just different jobs within the company. Kevin loves to be busy. He always has projects that he is doing, likes to go boarding any chance he gets, likes to be outdoors, loves to travel and likes watching football & how awesome it works out that the Superbowl is on his birthday! He is the Young men's President in our church & fits very well in the positions. He is a big kid himself. Kevin loves to be around his family & is a great husband & father.

As for me i am working one day a week to keep up my skills & then a stay at home mom the rest of the time. It helps me to use my brain a little bit when i am a work. I enjoy being a mom. I love being outdoors, learning new things, taking classes & hanging out with my 3 boys!! I just got called to be the Enrichment Leader in our ward. It is a lot of work but fun. The other day i went snowboarding with Kevin for the first time in 7 years, since i broke my knee. I was fun, I fell down a few times & knocked the wind out of Kevin one time trying to get off the crazy ski lift!! It was funny! I guess i will just have to attempt it again.

Ethan is 3. He started going to Preschool this year! A lady in the neighborhood does it. It is close & a few neighbor friends are in his class. He does really well & likes it. I didn't think he could go because he has yet to overcome the diaper devil!! My nemesis!! Maybe someday soon. He seems to not be interested in being free from the diaper devil. Keep on trying i guess :) He also just started going to primary this year...he is a sunbeam!! I started to get all emotional when he went! He is getting to big. He is a very smart boy. He loves to learn, play with his brother, loves to be outside, is a momma's boy & loves trucks....he is all boy, except when he is putting on makeup & carrying a purse!

Jackson is 18mo. He just started to go to Nursery! He is doing pretty good. He is a daddy's boy. He has attached himself to a guy teacher in Nursery & cries when he is not around. I love the teachers in there, they are great....so now i am free to go to RS without a kid!! Jackson is a busy body. Very curious about everything, loves to follow his big brother, loves to climb on anything and everything and get into everything. He like to dance & is a very happy & talkative boy.....He can say a few words but just babbles most of the time. We take him to his well check up at the end of the month. He is growing up too much.

We are blessed with great kids. I am lucky to have 3 wonderful boys in my house. Maybe i deserve a girl next time around. No announcement.....we are good for awhile.....i am just getting use to 2 boys. I am just wishing for a girl. I love my boys though. Hope all is well with everyone.

Belated Halloween

Family Pictures....

We are in desperate need of a family picture. My pop took one about 2 years ago this Christmas, which is the picture at the bottom, which we love. Our 2nd boy came along & we haven't done anything. Anyway....we asked my dad again to take them. Him and my sister were taking pictures at the same thime & this is how some of them turned out. The one at the top of the blog is the best but we are all looking at different cameras. The ones below here are the joys of taking pictures with kids. It was fun but a little crazy. I guess we will just have to do it again. My favorite one is where the boys are fighting & we are smiling!!

Roofing

Ever since we moved into our house, which was a little over 3 years ago, our roof wasn't doing so well. The shingles were starting to peel up. We knew we would have to replace them soon. Kevin, being the handy man he is and the do-it-yourself type, took on this project himself. He is a great husband and good at whatever he does. He worked every minute that he could. There were a lot of people that helped him out. I am glad we didn't have any mishaps! The roof looks awesome. He did a great job. We need to take after pictures. I realized when i was doing it we had none, but in one of the pictures you can see part of the new roof!

God be with you till we meet again

It's been crazy this past couple of months. My dad's parents just passed away, 50 days of each other. My Grandma hasn't been doing well since February and was on Hospice. My Grandpa was doing fine and then all the sudden i think he decided he wanted to go first. My Grandpa passed away in September and then 50 days later in October, my Grandma decided that she needed to be with him. It's sad to see people who you love so dearly leave this life, but a good thing for them to go. They have been married 69 years and have had an awesome life. My Grandpa was in the Navy, so he got a military salute. It was very cool, hearing them fire their rifles. I love being their granddaughter!! I feel very blessed that me and my 3 other siblings got to talk at both of their funerals. My dad is an only child, so we were lucky to be able to speak and be pallbearers. They will be missed deeply! We love you grandma & grandpa.

We went to Brian Regan @Thanksgiving Point. I LOVE HIM!! If any of you don't know who he is......shame on you!!! Go on youtube and look him up. FUNNY GUY! It was such an awesome show. I literally was crying. We went with my cute brother and his wife. Can you say Cheesey Ryan??
THE MAN OF THE HOUR

We celebrated ethan's birthday with my fam. I did a constrction theme, as you can tell. It was fun. Thanks for the awesome gift and the fun party! There is my cute naked construction worker...ladies he's taken!

BD MARDI GRAS

Kevin's dad's work had a big summer party that family was invited to. This party was Mardi gras theme and it was awesome they had everything....bounce houses, cotton candy, food, ice cream, games, circus preformers and prizes........kevin's dad won a sound system. It was fun. Thanks for inviting us!! Ethan's favortie thing to do was to ride this homemade train. A small town cowboy was pulling this with a tractor. It was cute. Notice ethan's bling....nice beads. & this was Ethan's least favortie ride as you can tell.....one time around and he was about to break out in tears. Love it!!

Lagoon...it's where fun is.

We went to Lagoon with kevin's family for a reunion. I was fun to take ethan! We left Jackson home :( The little play place for kids it cute. Madisyn and Ethan rode a lot of the rides together. Here are some of the cute cousins! I love this pic of all of them on the train. They were having a blast.

This was by far his favorite ride. He kept telling me he wanted to go on it until he got a green car. 5 rides later here we are!! GREEN!!

My mom & dad's neighborhood had a dutch oven & pool party. Kevin was out of town having fun on the snake river, so i decided to go. It is a cool pool. Kind of sucluded. Ethan & jackson had a blast. BIG E IS THREE

WOW!! Three years ago! They do grow up way too fast. Happy Birthday E! We love you. Ethan is a great boy! He is loves to talk, remembers everything from places we have been to the shirt he was wearing at a certain place. He loves to learn, read books, play with his trains, ride his bike and is deathly afraid of dogs!! He loves his blanket, is a good big brother, loves his grandparents, loves being outside, helps me with anything.....i could go on but i will stop for now. I couldn't decided what pictures to put of him, so there is a bunch of him growing up. One of my all time favoirte pictures. He is such a happy kid.

Hey ya'll.......Some of you have been asking where did i go? I know i haven't updated our blog for awhile. Our computer is still dead!! I need to call my bro to help us fix it. All my pictures are held hostage. I will update asap! Thanks for wondering! Hope all is well.

OUR BABY IS ONE!!!!

Jackson is 1!!! I can't believe how fast it has gone by. Our computer is still broken and i wanted post pictures of him growing up each month, but most of the pictures are stuck on the computer. I am using Kevin's work computer to up date my blog & he only has a few select pictures. So these ones will have to do! We celebrated his b-day up @ red fish with my family! It was fun, he was so happy when everyone sang Happy Birthday to him. Then when we got back we had another birthday with Kevin's family. As you can see from the cake, it was a farm theme. It was so much fun! Thanks for all the gifts. He has really enjoyed them. Ethan has also loved them too! Jackson has been a great kid, has slept through the night since he was 5 months, he is a very happy kid, loves to babble, we love his army crawl, he loves his big brother, has 4 teeth coming in at the same time. poor guy!! I am so glad that his is here and okay after all our issues with the pregnancy. It is so much fun to see him grow up. We love you bro!!

hello my friends! I haven't been able to update my blog...1~ we have been busy and 2~ our computer is not working very well right now. So, i asked kevin to bring his laptop home from work, so i could do my blog among other things. It is amazing how much i depend on this crazy computer.

On with a few things we have been doing. This last week we went to Red Fish Lake with my family and stayed in a cabin. It is in Idaho. If any of you get a chance you should go. There was tonz to do! We played at the lake that has a beach and shallow water for the kids to play in. You can go mountain biking, kayaking, tubing, hiking, fishing, waterski, wakeboard....and a lot more. It was very fun and relaxing. We will most likely be making the trip back there someday!!! LOVED IT!
